MANAGEMENT

The management team of Assarel-Remont Ltd. is dedicated to the goals of the company to be a competitive provider of repair and maintenance services for the mining industry in Balkans and the rest of Europe. All members of the management team have an extensive professional experience. Using their knowlwedge and innovative approaches, they contribute to the transformation of the company into a modern, competitive enterprise.

In order to improve the effectiveness of the company operations and the quality of its service, the management places a special emphasis on its human resource policy. Sharing the belief that the human capital is the true wealth of the company and is the basis for its economic prosperity, the management team is actively working to improve labor conditions, increase worker motivation, and provide better quality of life for its employees.

General Manager: Eng. Ivan Ignatov, graduated from the Mining and Geology University in 1975 in Mining Electric Engineering and the University for National and World Economy in Economics in 1984. Since 1975 he has been occupying various managerial positions at the Mining and Ore Processing Complex “Medet”. In his last position in “Assarel-Medet” LSC Mr. Ignatov was Director of Maintenance and Power Supply. He has been a manager of Assarel- Remont Ltd since 2003.

Deputy Manager: Econ. Ivan Zahariev, graduated from the University of National Economy in Kiev.

Deputy Manager, Operations: eng. Hristo Karamanov, graduated from the Technical University in Sofia in 1991, specializing in Mechanical Engineering and Metal Processing machines.

Principal Specialist, Maintenance and Power Supply: eng. Sabko Mehterov, graduated from the Mining and Geology University in 1990 in Power Supply and Electrical Equipment for Mining Enterprises.
